I'm a little over two weeks into my Italy trip, and I am settling into the work + artistic exploration portion. This trip is kind of divided into three parts: the first part was a romantic get away with my partner (uh, now fiancee since he proposed in Venice!), and then now I'm settling into two weeks by myself in Florence! This trip feels like a giant gift to my inner child and inner artist. I've always dreamt of going to Florence, of being surrounded by the art that has inspired me my whole life and birthed the artist I am today. I'll be working on some passion projects while balancing it with exploration, play, and stuffing as much art into my eyeballs as my little neurodivergent capacity can handle.
To end my time in Italy my childhood bestie who lives in Brighton will be joining me for a lil roadtrip around Tuscany. We're going on a hot-springs-crawl, and I'm hoping we can time it so we can get some alone time at a hot spring and take the most epic nudies ever. Pray for us!
I'm still recovering energetically from my trip with my partner - as he travels at a lot faster pace than I usually do, but I always get swept away in it. I've been napping so much the last few days and enjoying moving at my own pace. I feel a lot of things bubbling to the surface - ready to be reflected and percolated on. I expect there will be some announcements and musings coming your way in the near future!
