Morningstar: Story complete & Localization
Added 2024-10-30 04:35:32 +0000 UTCI finished the story last weekend, and now I'm spending the last few days before 11/11 tinkering with the main game.
One of the the most frequent requests for any AVN is localization (Chinese and Korean, especially). I've used Google Translate before, but honestly it sucks. With the new generation of LLMs (Large Language Machines, like ChatGPT) I figured I'd take a second stab at it. So far it gets 95% of it really quite well... that only leaves ~5% to manually fix :|
I'll see if I soldier through; beyond fixing the dialog I'd also need to fix all the UI elements (Start, Load, Music Volume, etc); that would be a completely different set of problems, but it would also be largely a solved problem (with only elbow grease required).

I will do my best to try and reach it and the other three paths as well although turning away from kara will be hard as I love her both in morningstar and lom

I needed a Path of Shadows because you can chose to turn down both of them, and then Lin snuck over, gave my shoulders a massage and mentioned that she'd be happy to help out with a path as well. So that's how we got to 4 endings. I do think the Path of Shadows ended up way too cool for something that was always supposed to be a failsafe, and it's sad that so few people will see it :)
