Quick test renders (4K)
Added 2024-04-26 03:21:08 +0000 UTCI wanted to do a few test-renders, and liked some of them enough that I redid them in 4K, and tinkered with them a little in Photoshop. 
This little image was inspired by a Carbidis (Eternum) render; I liked the composition enough to try to recreate the feeling. This is Ciara Kennedy from Morningstar.
I had this little chainmail bikini I got a long time ago; I decided to see how Saffron looked in it. Very nice, it turns out. This is one of two test renders I made; I like to imagine this was the first one, and the following was the second half of the story :)
With that set up, it's time to return to writing Morningstar. I'm writing day 73 now, with the end of Act IV planned for day 74. Hopefully I'll reach that this weekend, and can go on to do the rest of the cleanup before a formal release.

The ladies are looking good! I'm wondering if the MC's relationship with Ciara will turn fully into an alliance with a potential LI. She was a foil and a foe, but I sense the tide turning. There are a number of fights in Act 3/4 that currently provide no experience. Will this change as with the Match 3 updates, the MC feels more and more underpowered. I find myself doing matches with Emily every chance I get to go up levels but this sacrifices stats through time, which becomes very evident by the time I hit the Surasek fight. Final question/thought - will there be options to zero my stats and refocus my fighting styles as new paths open up (like the Eric path and the Emily path)? When I hit the last fight with Katie in Act 4, I estimate she was between level 25 - 30 to get to the 4 level 5 MMA moves she used in that fight, unless there is a way to skip having to spend skill points to get to double jab, for example. Thanks!
