Added 2023-01-20 12:45:52 +0000 UTCI know I said it'd take a week or two for the next Act to be complete, but I ended up getting dragged along. It's not often the story does that, so... I decided to go with the flow. Act XIV is now content complete on the development branch. I'll push it to Beta branch, and do a set of non-steam mirrors, once I see that nothing else is wrong.
With that the stage is set for the pivotal Act of Book 3, The Return.
But first, it's Act XIV+ time, which returns to Edinburgh, to reunite with old friends, get drunk in the Crowley, and see a lady about a pair of shoes.

Glad you're enjoying it. I was planning to take my time with that chunk, but once I started writing it, I couldn't stop. I had a similar thing happen with the end of Book 2, and the opening of Book 3... sometimes the characters just won't let me rest.
