VFX Breakdown: Katie's Intro

I had a couple of characters I wanted to bring along for Morningstar, and for Day 2 you meet the third of them, Katie (the rest currently are Bella, Emily, Chloe, Molly, and probably fan favorites Kath and Snowdrop joining as side-characters).

This is the opening sequence of Day 2, when MC gets to meet Katie for the first time (and do the obligatory naming), followed by a bit of introduction to the gym (which is where your free training activities for strength and intelligence will happen).

I'm playing around with different effects here; motion tracking, wide time, particles and saber. Hope you enjoyed the breakdown :)

On the Love of Magic side of things, I'm writing the last two (small-ish) events before the Act finale. Hope to have them out on the Development branch today, before I go back to finish up the rendering for the end of Act. Tentatively a week or so until it goes onto the beta branch.
