Act XII progress
Added 2022-08-05 05:44:04 +0000 UTCI was hoping to have a Release Candidate for Act XII earlier this week, and release it this weekend. Unfortunately I picked up Covid, so the last couple of days have been less than productive. Having said that, I'm back at 50% capacity or so, and hope to finish up the last bits and pieces of Act XII this weekend, and have it ready for the testers.
Having said that, it's mostly small things that are still missing. Mostly I need to start a clean playthrough from day 194, and see if there's anything I *can* break. Three smaller characters also need a 'holding pattern' conversation (if you talk to them again when they have nothing to say, they should still say hi and nice to meet you). And finally I just need to see if there's anything that still feels rough, though it's gone through a lot of playthroughs with the nice people on Discord, so I don't think there's anything *too* terrible still hiding there.
You can catch it on the Development Branch of Book 2 today; it'll shift onto the Beta branch when I'm finally done, and I'll get on with making Act XII+, which will focus on expanding the sandbox, especially Elsewhere.

With COVID, the most important thing is making sure not to push yourself while recovering. We would all prefer you slowing down work for a week now over you doing long term damage to yourself and getting long COVID symptoms.
