Steam Digital Tabletop Fest
Added 2021-10-20 05:06:26 +0000 UTCSteam's Digital Tabletop Fest is live, and this year they're celebrating RPGs. Nobody was more surprised than me that they reached out to invite me to participate; usually us adult games are stuck in a silo somewhere where god-fearing people won't accidentally encounter us.
But since they invited me, I decided to do it properly. There's a Steam sale, but more importantly I'm going to try to Live Stream, something I've never tried doing before. I'm unsure if it's going to be a fun experience or an epic train-wreck, but it should be entertaining anyway.
I'll be streaming live at 9am GMT+8 on Saturday, Oct 23 (that works out to Friday Oct 22 in the US)
(It's sadly the devil's triangle; Pacific/US/Europe, someone's getting the short straw... this time it's unfortunately the UK, which goes at 2am).

Chat will be open and questions welcome; I'm planning on keeping the stream SFW, focusing on the Poker gameplay. I'll be talking inspirations, design decisions, balancing challenges and plans for the future.

I was busily rendering day 160, and fell in love with this sequence, deciding to make a wallpaper out of it. It's only 1920x1080 (16:9 ), since it was never planned as a wallpaper. I did a little bit of photoshop work on it to adapt it as a wallpaper (you usually want to keep the left hand side low contrast / dim, so icons don't fight the background).
