Release update + wallpapers
Added 2021-09-04 07:41:35 +0000 UTCI'm close enough to release that I'm hopeful it'll be done this weekend. I had dreams of doing it *last* weekend, but I got side-tracked by the new Strategy minigame I was working on.
Act VIII+ will be an Edinburgh centric episode, with new content for Chloe, Mom, Booker, Diana and (of course), Jenny, who ended up stealing the show. I was originally planning to do a small sequence with her, but she ended up having a whole bunch of good ideas that extended the Black Rose sequence in new and interesting ways.
Apart from that, the Computer's also had a makeover (it was creaky old code from the very first build of Love of Magic, and needed a fresh coat of paint). I've also added a new Game of Friends; Price of Power by onetime Rendering Intern and current game creator Pandaman.
I was rendering the final sequence of Jenny's little event when I came across an image I really enjoyed the composition of. I went back and re-rendered it at 4K and high quality, hopefully it'll make a fun wallpaper for someone. 16:9 and 22:10 aspect ratios.
I'll get back to work now; Jenny's not going to tie herself up all by herself after all. Hope to have the final release done by tomorrow night.
