March towards Act VII
Added 2021-02-28 13:08:05 +0000 UTCI finally finished Act VII's primary cutscene (no, this isn't it... this was a side-render I liked enough to spend some time doing VFX work on). It's the biggest one I've done since the Call of the Chosen (MC goes to rescue Emily), and I had a lot of fun setting it up. Huge thanks to rendering intern Pandaman (who recently kicked off his own game, so I guess he's no longer qualified as an intern), for helping run some of the animations on his superior HW.
I'm right now writing day 129 / 135. I've got 2 more 'timeline' events before the act is done, one more Home of the Chosen questline event, and various bug-fixes, new sandbox events and hopefully some new Elsewhere enemies to go. I'm planning the next public release out by the end of march. Hopefully earlier, but I'm guessing the bug-hunting will take longer for this episode.
