And I'm finally done with the big 'mid way' build. In the same way as the Act I midway build focused on Slice of Life events, Act II focuses on Elsewhere. I'm finally getting enough 'meat' on it that you can see the direction I wanted to go; characters have discussions with each other, optional events trigger based on who you bring in with you (there is for example one event that only triggers if you rest, talk to Dylan, and have Emily in the party). I've added a bunch of new enemies, of various power-levels, increased the payouts and made sure gold paid out better, and in general polished it up.
Apart from that there's a lot of bug fixes, little tweaks and quality of life issues. Poker can now auto-play, or it can be triggered in auto-play mode each turn. I've also added a new character; the Werewolf Commando Bella is now playable in Elsewhere, and she has a full event back in Edinburgh as well.
With that over, I can now turn my full attention to the actual story of Act III. I've been rendering in the background, and drafting out conversations, but this is the first time I'm sitting down and writing down dialog that makes it into Act III. It's going to be a really fun episode; the interactions between Molly and Emily is already shaping up, and the grand finale should hopefully be fun for everyone involved.
