I don't know why, but EVERYONE misses that the 6 Cardinals of the Slane Theocracy tell us that Nigun is still "missing", because Ains captured him (and he later dies while being interrogated), and they also say that a different Scripture, the Windfolwer Scripture, is still looking for Clementine for turning traitor and stealing a Crown of Wisdom, who Ains also killed. They don't know anything about Ains or Nazurick, lol. Even finding Shalltear was a complete coincidence. They were on their way to an entirely different location and had to retreat back home because of her.
