I read the LN and didn't remember that part at all, the dude got trolled by the crab god :D Does he even keep the weight / is it canon? IDK. Seems to me like that was just a funny little moment to end the episode more light-heartedly

2024-04-18 18:14:51 +0000 UTCThe reason I didn't request more of monogatari series after bake+kizu is because I think both nekomonogatari and Nisemonogatari are extremely horny and ecchi, and not as good as this season. After that, the series does get really really good again, though. BTW. I'm a bit sad we're skipping the amazing OP and ED; especially because every mini-arc has a new opening sung by that arc's character
