I don't know, it's based on a novel series, maybe that question got answered there? Wasn't ever something that I really thought about ngl. :D -Mandarin translations can often be a bit weird, that cliff he jumped was called "Devil May Cry" in this episode (yes, that's a video game series :D), but I also saw it translated as "Hell's Peak" which is probably more accurate -Bonus info: Tang is the name of the sect, so that's his last name. San means three: He was the third oldest outer disciple, combine those two= Tang San

2023-09-24 04:34:23 +0000 UTCI'm glad you enjoyed the first episode : ) a few things: -It's not a video game, they chose this 3d animation because they had very little budget. There will also be some ads inside the show shown for a few seconds in future episodes :D -"Shrek" gets mentioned hundreds of times in this show. It makes sense in context, but it's still really funny ngl :D -It's not a solo show, Tang San will be part of a team of 7 pretty early on. They stay together for the most part, and the other party members stay actually relevant throughout the show *cough SAKURA cough* even though Tang San is OP for sure. -The animation gets better gradually, better shadows, smoother animations etc. -I could say more, but don't want to spoil too much :D PS: Don't read the youtube comments on the episodes, they spoil so much, they even spoiled for the sequels lol
