It's so inspirational to see that Oda introduced queer characters back in 2009 especially since Japan has a very different culture about those things. So as you stated as well it is so weird that some One Piece "fans" doesn't get Oda's themes and meanings that everyone is equal and that its only your behaviour and actions that make you "good" or "bad"
