It was hard to watch the crew really go through internal conflict & having it end up with usopp leaving made it hurt way more. I understand both sides & usopp is very relatable on how he acted

2022-01-03 16:46:13 +0000 UTCI think Usopp didn't only fight for the Merry because he knew already they would abandon it cause Luffy said he wanted a new ship but he actually fought to prove to himself that he can kind of keep up with Luffy. Usopp isn't the strongest fighter but in an even fight, when he actually sees the enemy and doesn't act on emotions like the two Franky Family battles, he at least could put up a good fight against enemies like these. For me he is the best strategist of the Straw Hats cause he has to be, because everyone else, other than Nami maybe, can relie only on their strength sometimes while Usopp can't. Btw while I can understand why Usopp would act like this I still find it a bit harsh to directly leave the crew because of the Merry. But nevertheless we have to give credit to Oda that he came up with such a realistic arguement between Usopp and Luffy cause I really think that real people could have acted like they did in a way and thats really hard to manage.
