2021-10-12 09:39:58 +0000 UTCIn my opinion, you haven’t watched Re:Zero until you’ve REwatched Re:Zero tbh. Knowing all of the characters backstories, their motivations, their development - and all the lore about the witches and the world building and the magic… makes season 1 make so much more sense. So many throwaway lines in the first season you don’t notice are huge foreshadowing or hint at something we learn in season 2. It’s amazing. I also suggest checking out the Re:Petit and Re:Zero Break Time shorts since they basically adapt scenes from the light novel that didn’t make it into the anime and have a cute Chibi artstyle. A lot of world building and magic explanations in these shorts.

2021-10-11 15:10:48 +0000 UTCThe IF stories are pretty good, and there is this one channel Echidnut, that does them pretty well, even got the dub voice actor for subaru and echidna for Greed IF. They do contain some spoilers, but he mentions them and gives time stamps to skip. But yeah definitely recommend to watch it and put it on youtube.
