A question for Sephizen, Does Im read the comments anymore? I realized that he stopped replying to them completely. I know you inform him if there is anything important but I mean the regular comments like opinions or thoughts, do you also send them to him?

It really was sad moment. Many people I know dropped the show right after L's death, or began loving Light even more. Personally I almost dropped it :(

This, also Rem knows that Light did exactly what he said, take her out of confinement, free, happy (in Misa eyes). You can also assume that Rem doesn't know what's the next step, knowing that if Light dies, Misa is next, just by simple logic (In Rem eyes).

Regarding Rem not killing Light, in addition to the fact that Misa adores Light and how it will break her heart if he dies, I think Rem knows that Misa would be in danger if she continues in the path of Kira alone. She wouldn't be there also to make sure that she don't get caught. Yes light will use her, but Rem knows how Misa plays an important role in Light's plans, and maybe she thought that after L's death he wouldn't be in a difficult situation that makes him sacrifice one of his strong cards, the shinigami eyes. For that reason, I think Rem saw that Light being alive is more helpful for Misa than being dead.

Good shout, I told him about it after I read your comment. No idea if he'll react to the film, just the extra scenes, watch it off screen or not watch it, but he's been told.

You can tell somethings up just by the style of this episode, so many great shots and animation, it just feels stylistically different, this is a very controversial move, lots of people just stop watching at this point because they love the L and Light dynamic too much

Man I knew this episodes was gonna be rough for Im, certainly one of the most deflating episodes in any series. I’m excited to see what Im thinks about this next phase of the story. Also a question for Im or his mods, will Im be reacting to the special scenes outside of the series? I’m referring to the funeral scene and L’s “Monster Speech” I would love to see Im’s thoughts on these once the series has concluded. Anyways amazing reaction and discussion as usual!
