But if we could have watched an anime like this when we were kids, it would have been truly amazingβͺ. Actually, I put quite a bit of thought into things like direction and coloring, seriously considering "What were the anime from the Showa era really like?" I intentionally made the coloring quite rough, aiming for that cel animation look. Also, I made some adjustments to give it that "film comic" feelβͺ. I'm quite proud of this attention to detail, hehehe.
*Film comics are books that use still images from anime and arrange them like manga. By adding dialogue and explanatory text, they allow you to enjoy the anime's story in book form. Long ago, when I couldn't go to see movies or didn't have a VCR (is that term obsolete now? lol), these were really invaluable (lol).
