The OVA is a small look into Emilia’s past, that’s why many people recommend to watch before s2. I mentioned on YouTube that it can be watched after s2 part 1 (episode 13) because it plays a much bigger role in the later parts. It’s a movie length OVA so it will take time to watch.

Double episodes are always nice, but it’ll come down to your preference. Re: Zero always goes wild with their cliff hangers, some episodes more so than others. There will probably be a few this season where you won’t want to wait a week or several days for the next episode out of pure desire to know what happens

Usually takes me 30 min+ to watch a 25 min re zero episode. It's jam packed with info and even some of the smallest details are critical to the story. So take your time if you need, we rather you have a good watching experience than get to the end not knowing what's going on!
Also yeah, let’s do double episodes after episode 6. Some of these cliffhangers might kill you

I don't mind the pausing at all. I don't think anyone does tbh. You take your time to soak everything in, that's all good!

I love how you pause and really try to understand everything that's happening. Don't feel insecure about it!

Don't worry too much about having to rewatch things/missing things. We all had to go through a similar process on first watch, so many of us also missed things at first too. So do things your own way and try to piece the puzzle together yourself. Watching you theorize/try to figure it out is half of the fun anyway. Re:zero is a wonderfully involved show and shrouded in mystery, but I promise it pays off the things it builds up; everything will be properly explained sooner or later.

Season 2 is definitely more complex than Season 1. The major things about re zero are mystery, suffering and hope. The first half of Season 2 is combined with the first two so don't get annoyed by getting more questions. I swear there are no plot holes.

It's terrifying that Echidna seems not to be surprised knowing Subaru was from Japan. Subaru is too insensitive to ask her about it. Also, love your reaction
