The key to this manga lies in leaving the readers to imagine: who exactly are the ones threatening the main character, and how exactly is he being threatened? I deliberately avoid delving into those details, leaving it to YOUR imagination! I figured that since manga often follows certain patterns and conventions, it might just work well in this format.
Also, I really love the name of the main character, HANABUSA RENTARO! While his surname, HANABUSA = blossom cluster/blossoms, is so classic and elegant, his given name feels old-fashioned, creating a charming contrast. It gives off a vibe reminiscent of classic Japanese manga characters who are martial arts enthusiasts, which I personally find delightful.
A super strong champion is always ordained to endure "HARDSHIPS". Hence, Hanabusa-san is ridiculously adorable! I can't help but want to see him suffer over and over again in a longer manga! (LOL).
