so what about Starfield?
Added 2023-09-03 21:15:31 +0000 UTCI've been playing quite a lot of Starfield on the weekend and to cut it short it's not overwhelming, but it's also not horrible. Everything in there is still new to me so for now it's easy to sink a lot of time into it. I will have to see how much it is able to catch my interest in the long run, but I can see myself play it when needing a change from Skyrim every then and now.
So I'll definitely be porting OStim to Starfield, but how my attention will be distributed between it and Skyrim after that will depend on what the community wants. At the end of the day I'm spending a lot more time developing the mods than actually playing the game, so I'll be fine with either one being the one of demand... just please don't make a 50/50 split so I have to develop everything for both games :^(
Also due to me playing Starfield too much the beta release will be delayed by one day one more time. Whoopsie.. :c

I vote Skyrim.

2023-09-09 14:02:53 +0000 UTCThe UI in VR works differently. I don't know what I had to change to support it and wouldn't be able to test it if I did due to a lack of VR gear. But it's one of the many things on Kannons todo list, so we might see it eventually.

While there are mods like flower girls for it, seeing your avatar with another NPC just is not the same as what has been created here. It's pretty sad when first person on Skyrim SE is better than Skyrim VR. Also, unlike Starfield, it looks like Skyrim VR may never get updates again making it a perfect side project for the next year or two while waiting for Starfield to chill out as it will likely never need to be updated after completion.
