the state OStim Standalone
Added 2023-08-06 13:29:17 +0000 UTCI feel like OStim Standalone turned out pretty well (after we fixed all the crashes) and it has gotten a lot further in the past three weeks than I initially anticipated. So despite my initial plan I will most likely release it on Nexus next week, rather than a month after that.
Part of the reason for that decision is that in a month Starfield will just have come out and not a lot of people will be looking at the Skyrim Nexus for a while. So I better get it out before that.
Speaking of Starfield, since I have been asked that a few times: I intend to port OStim to Starfield once the Script Extender for it is available. If the game turns out to be a real flop I might change my mind and not bother with it. But lets not be pessimistic at this point and hope we get a good space exploration RPG.
Just keep in mind that the Creation Kit and Script Extender probably won't release this year, so don't get too hyped for sex in space as it'll probably take a few more months before we get there.
In other news I've progressed pretty well on the SL conversions. So next week you'll get the first animation pack specifically made for OStim Standalone, containing all animations I previously converted to OStim NG in addition to some 4P and 5P animations.

The Nexus page will be called OStim Standalone. Whether or not people wanna type that out or call it OStim SA is up to them.

I guess that's up to the team :). Good job on this project. I liked the easy/fast transitions between animations when I tested version beta 3. I didn't test the version beta 4 yet. Keep us updated!
