How is the sound engine coming?

I did manage to replace most of the OSA sounds. So OStim is now playing it's own moaning and spanking sounds. The female moans for now sound more or less the same as for OSA as we apparently found the same source files. They are rather low quality compared to the other sounds so we're still on the look out for better ones.
But the important part is all of these sounds are now played by OStim itself, which means as soon as we've got our own UI we can entirely get rid of the OSA dependency.
There is still much to do, though. I still have to implement a replacer of OSound and OSound expansion into the core engine and am in the talks with Migal on if and how this new sound engine could be used to improve NV.
I will release a new beta soon in which you can test the new sounds and play around a bit with the MCM options.

Perhaps. The big problem with getting usable sound files is that OStim is licensed under GPLv3, which means any sounds we include in it can then be used by anyone for anything as long as they keep an open license. And a lot of sound files don't have permissions that open.
