This was such a good movie. I love Jordan Peele and his messages in his films. My son and I just watched his new film HIM . We really enjoyed it.

2025-09-21 01:23:03 +0000 UTCYou must have been very distracted on your first watch to not remember basically everything of significance in this movie, and I love that for you because then you were able to truly experience it for the first time on this go around lol I believe the working theory is that Chris doesn't face any serious repercussions after the events of the movie. Jordan Peele initially wrote and filmed an ending where the police actually do show up and he's arrested, but eventually found that ending to be too bleak, so he changed it allow the fictional character the opportunity to escape the inevitable horror of what would have likely transpired in the real world. This film has so much to say and I'm so glad you chose to give it a rewatch! 💖 Looking forward to our spooky friends discussion 👻

When they first watch into the kitchen the dad says something along the lines of “Mother loved this so style and we had to leave a little bit of her in here” as Georgina is standing right there
