28 Days Later - Movie Reaction

you promised them WHAT?

just a heads up, this was my first time filming on my brandy new PC (rather than my iMac) and I did run into some technical difficulties. The only one you should be able to notice is the corruption in the movie files. luckily, this film is so low quality to begin with that i feel like it's not tooooo noticeable 😅 my apologies regardless.

brandy new pc??? does this perhaps mean more horror games in the future :0

Aaron Garcia

just so you all know, they actually got the whole of London city to be completely empty to be able to film this. it was crazy.

premds

If anyone is wondering about the grain, this was one of the first movies filmed (almost) entirely on digital and it was very low resolution compared to what is available now. That's why it looks like you're watching through a window screen.

Caleb

It sounds like it was grainy intentionally, but also it doesn’t help that Prime Video isn’t great at making older stuff look as good as it could

Kevin (kpix01)

Serous question what are you watching this on!? I want to watch it so bad!

Lizz Locke

Oh My God! No Way!! This is why I don't recommend things, you have way better taste then me! I've been DYING to watch this movie for Years! I couldn't find it anywhere and its just right here on your patreon!! I not joking For YEARS! Thank you!

Lizz Locke

🤣🤣🤣 But I had no choice, I HAD to eat all the Gushers and ice cream and cookies! ❤️❤️❤️

Kevin (kpix01)

Judging by your APPROPRIATE discomfort in some scenes of this, take a full pass on I Spit On Your Grave. Trailer made it look like brief explanation and a lot of revenge, but the movie was the reverse. Couldn’t do it.

If you find yourself looking for more apocalyptic movies (outside of WWZ) I actually liked “Right at Your Door”. Not a commercially popular flick to my knowledge, but it was a ride. Perhaps I was in a state cause it’s been ages lol but I’ll watch it again and let ya know lol

Jessica Leigh

“Oh no, there’s a LOT coming…” had me dead. I just keep going to world war z in my mind with the zombie tower oof - I hate em fast and climbing

Jessica Leigh

Dude, like, yea I saw the dad's death coming, but the way they did it... the timing of it was honestly so heartbreaking </3 when the guys from the compound show up literally like 5 seconds too late... I was so sad for him :,(

Meghan Blust

Girl lol extremely terrifying liquor that’s that color…lol absinthe?

Jessica Leigh

I swear I played a video game that started very very similarly lol

Jessica Leigh

I was so excited to see you doing this! Personally I’m more into World War Z for apocalyptic but I also don’t consider it horror… this is still a great watch and I’m so thrilled to see more content, especially this era. 💕💕💕💕

Jessica Leigh

I haven't seen this in forever.

La Toya Sheri

I googled it. At the end, yes they do get saved. The pilot speaks in Finnish and says "Lähetätkö helikopertin?" which means "Will you send a helicopter?"

Vanessa Pehle

Side note: i didn’t really notice any technical difficulties that obvious, if anything it fit the grainy aesthetic of the movie so 😂

Saffiyah_A04

I LOVED watching this rip Frank frrr. Would you ever watch the sequel ‘28 weeks later’. The 3rd movie actually comes out this year ‘28 years later’ in the summer.

Saffiyah_A04

No joke

David S. Grop

ur not joking.... ? i thought this was a joke

Caitlin Marie

More movies need to be shot on potatoes like this one to infuse that good'ol sense of dread 🔥

Wesley Lara

The song that plays during the scene towards the end when all the people are dying in the house is one of the most iconic movie theme songs oat! When I think of this movie I instantly think of the song lol

Aodhan 🇮🇪

just started and it feels like I'm watching a grainy livestream 😅

Kaitlin Hilton

28 weeks later next please!🙏

Eric Mueller

Ah. Is this a depressing film? I think so.

Mannygogou

The scene with Cillian Murphy on the Westminster Bridge was real. A lot of precise timing and permission was needed on Danny Boyle’s end. Filming took place early on the weekend and there were police directing traffic from where they were shooting. It’s a shot that’s pretty much impossible to get nowadays; London is much larger and busier.

Mello Mike

The city scenes weren't greenscreened, they were shot at dawn on a Sunday when the streets were empty

David S. Grop

The hold this and the sequel has on my dad and older brother needs to be studied but I’m so excited to watch this for the first time with you after studying today!!!

Saffiyah_A04

I need to watch these!! I can't believe I still haven't seen them, but I really want to see 28 Years Later when that one comes out
