I had the same energy as you! I love Sabrina, and thought some of the music performances were great, but those skits were not my kind of humor at all. And the live audience laughing at literally every sentence being said drove me up the wall. But, I get how people that like sitcom and SNL type humor would love this, and that's perfectly fine! We all have different tastes at the end of the day. It just wasn't for me

I can totally see how the sketch parts doesn't vibe with you at the same time, I really do appreciate when artists tries something different outside their usual talents and even if it fails or succeed I deeply respect them for attempting and giving it their all. I do agree the energy isn't there compared to her shows. I do agree with you it's very cute.

I feel like if I made a list of all the things I wanted from a Sabrina Carpenter Christmas special, I got a few of them, but I also got a lot of things I didn't want that definitely didn't make the list. Which is totally fine, make the special you want to make, and maybe there are people out there like, wow it's everything I wanted, and I'm glad for them, but yeah.

I get not liking the vibe, especially when you already don’t like sketch comedy. And it did feel kinda odd, like they were trying to be a parody of Christmas comedy music specials but also somehow not. There were some parts I thought were pretty funny. I loved all the song performances. I only recently became a Sabrina fan through watching your reaction videos so maybe since I’m not as familiar with her music, I didn’t notice if they lacked energy. It just felt like a nice chill Christmas concert to me. About Sean Astin playing Santa- even though I read the comments before watching it I forgot and was like who is playing Santa he looks so familiar? I don’t know those other guest stars either, but I have a good excuse- I’m old. I did see the nerf gun shot, I thought that was pretty funny. I’m glad they kept it in if it wasn’t supposed to happen.

Everyone breaks and that’s why everyone is laughing 😂 Truly a moment because of live filming 😂 Love this whole special. Just so campy and fun. And who doesn’t love listening to Sabrina and guests sing Christmas music? 🥰
