It's called Radical Optimism, I think that means being positive about all the hard times of life and relationships that why the sad song is upbeat and why she is happy for her ex and grateful for her BF's Ex. It's beautiful, because that is so Her! So mature and loving!

All the songs continue to grow on you the more you listen to them. Hate that there’s a narrative out there that it isn’t a good album because it is “just” fun pop songs. HAVE FUN PEOPLE LMAO
