She’s an incredible dancer, and I noticed that songs I didn’t like on their own I ended up really liking when they were paired with her dancing. One to watch would be the music video for feel like shit; amazing choreo.

2022-06-17 03:33:11 +0000 UTCmy favorites are boy x and go away, both of which i relate to, which is why i connect to them. i feel like tate's songs are very much personal, and specific so it's harder to connect with than other songs. i also think that tate's strong suit is the slower more storytelling songs because that's how she started out in music, so i think she's more used to that. <3

She’s a ballerina/ prodigal dancer and became famous from So You Think You Could Dance. I think I find her more upbeat songs more enjoyable especially with the addition of her music videos. So maybe next time or if you ever react to Tate again

She had a YouTube channel called and did a segment often called Create With Tate where she would share original songs, which reminded me a lot of Boy x. Boy x and Feel Like Shit are my fave ones on the album for sure. The other ones kinda meld together. One of my other fave Tate songs is called “all my friends are fake” which is another one with some cool imagery and storytelling. I think those are the songs I’m drawn to the most from her

2022-06-14 21:37:02 +0000 UTCI haven’t watched this yet, but now that I know that it was Tate you were talking about yesterday, I will say none of the songs really stood out to me after the first listen (except the singles because I’d already heard them). After a few listens, the project really grew on me & it has already become one of my favourite albums. I do think this is a project worth revisiting in a couple of months, maybe your opinion will change, maybe it won’t. Either way, I do recommend checking out a few of her music videos. She’s an INSANELY talented dancer, and tells stories through dance in some of her videos
