Muirina, Interim post

This weeks posts will be delayed about a week. I left on an out of town trip and inadvertently took the wrong SSD. I'll have it up next week. Thanks for your patience. This post is to illustrate some of the process I go through for each image. I have about 30 to 45 minutes working on each image. I tend to like the darker images but put enough light into them so the artist can decide on how much detail they want to sketch. I do consider myself lucky to be able to work with such good models. Thanks again, Xeno

With the lighter one the shadow is still clearly there and easily seen with squinting. I prefer this one as I really want to develop this ability and in the darker one it is already done for me. Spoon fed, as it were. Then again with both images available its possible to check my accuracy with the darker image.. Great photos thankyou I always look forward to them๐Ÿ‘

The darker image really is dramatic. With the spotlight putting focus squarely on Xeno's upper torso. Someone drawing this for reference can keep the details in the light and everything else fuzzy in the shadows. ๐Ÿ‘

Yes, love the low key image! (both are great) the low key is an awesome ref for a notan study. With a halfway decent monitor you can definitely get info from the mid tones.

Love the one with the darker lighting, thank you! ๐Ÿ™
