July! July! July!

....never seemed so strange~

But here we are! It's been a while, eh? Sorry about that. I'm a disorganized mess, and I think I've only been getting worse this year :/

I did want to share some of the fun stuff I've been doing lately, starting with the Faerie Festival~!!

The first day was a little hectic, as it was the first time I'd ever set up and run a vending stall myself, but I think I did an okay job:

And of course, we had our shop supervisor keeping us in line:

Day 2 went pretty well too~! They moved my table to a different location, which actually worked out really well for me~! I got a lot of traffic that day~

It was such a good weekend~! I had fun, met some really nice people who also loved crafting and faeries and dressing up and just having fun, and I even made a little bit of money. Definitely something I'm doing again, I just need to start applying to more festivals and craft shows~!

So that was June. Just a lot of sewing a crafting and stressing about the festival, and then getting to celebrate it being over lol! I took a week off to relax before I got back into any more crafting~

Other than that, my poor garden has been struggling. I think the festival had me so distracted, I've been neglecting it. I've been spending most of July trying to fix it up a bit, and the constant rain has actually been helping me a little.

So, my garden this year:

Starting with, the only flowers that bloomed in the front boxes this year:

And some of the wildflowers I (used to) have growing along the side:

And some random tiger lilies that started growing in the backyard last year~ I didn't plant them, and I don't know where they came from, but I love how bright they are~!!

They're blooming out from the black raspberries growing along our fence~

Which are these little guys:

Little raspberries that turn a deep deep purple when they're ripe, and have a loveliest flavour. I just like snacking on them right off the bush, but they make a really nice syrup and a really good scone filling~

Other than guilt about my garden, my july has been going.... weirdly? Like, on one hand, I started playing D&D again with my brother's group, which has been a blast! I haven't played since 2009, and I missed the socializing, fantasy worlds, and of course, the dice <3 Ohhh the dice <3

But on the other hand? My garage was broken into and my bike stolen, our garbage can was stolen, our car is having engine issues, my neighbour mowed my lawn and killed my natural pollinator garden, destroying literal months worth of plant growth, and I haven't slept right all month :/

Also, I'm so behind on these patreon posts!! Omg, I'm genuinely really sorry. I've been filming little bits here and there for another vlog, and I've got almost all the rest of the body painting collection ready to post, so I haven't forgotten about you lovelies here. I just need to.... I don't know actually. I think I need to figure that out first, then figure out how to get my shit together lol.

So thank you, as always, for being so wonderful and so patient with me~ I'll leave you with a Daisy for now, and maybe I'll start posting shorter blogs, but more often? That might help~
