Barely, he is still utter shit in almost every way, him stumbling into a mostly correct option is giving him a lot of credit. But him letting the students determine who knows about a pregnancy is the right call. Pretty fucked that he told his wife the first AND last name of the pregnant student though.

You make a comment wondering responsibility of teaching staff to tell parents about kids being pregnant. I am a middle school social worker (grades 6-8 which can range between 11-14 years old) in the US and I can speak to kids about STI testing, pregnancy testing, etc without talking to parents. I even help them navigate to teen clinics and everything. I even wouldn't need to tell parents if the kid tells me they are getting an abortion. This topic mostly comes up with the 13 and 14 year olds as they start to think about if they want birth control and discuss with their partners if they are ready to have sex. It is a bit complicated but as long as I am serving the students then I know I am on the right track. I have a lot of flexibility to do what students need which is great.
