"Scrapped" Sonic Zone-Inspired Adopts (2022)

Hello! I've been meaning to share these for a while since I stumbled upon them arranging some files weeks ago...
Based on the 2nd Place of a poll from... that same year if not 2021... I was planning to do a set of adopts based on Sonic series level themes.
The original plan was to make 8 designs!
7 of those based on different zones from across the series, each with a Chaos Emerald assigned, from which the color would inform the design's eye color! π
The 8th design would have been based on a Special Stage design, with them being associated to the Master Emerald or some other stand-out symbol from the series. This last design would probably have had a few more colorful elements and details to it. π
At the time I started this I didn't have as much "design juice" on me, and while my itch for designing characters has been back recently (with me even taking in a few test design commissions in the sidelines, a few for a friend and one for a newer client!), my priority had definitely shifted towards custom artwork in the recent year.
I miss making adopts and seeing as these would have been the latest full set of them from me, had I finished them, makes me think a lot.
If you are reading this and have any thoughts, I would like to hear them!
Would you like to see me finish these and the full planned set?
Maybe would you like me to remake these same ideas, re-do the roughs for them and see if newer design sensibilities come through?
Would you like to see more adopts from me in general?

Hehehe thani you so much!! :3 AAHHHH that means a lot!!! And I like you ideas, honestly, one of the hopes of the Patreon is to be able to draw more complex personal pieces, including, I really hope, comics to be done regularly in the future, so there I would need BG or incidental characters! :>

As for what I think about doing more adopts: YES YES YES PLEASE DOOO!!!! I love seeing you come up such cool designs for your adopts! You could definitely use some of these scrapped adopts for some possible future adopt set, or maybe even as background cameos to toss in future pieces as a treat for us patrons!
