As an artist, it might sound counterintuitive, but I have to admit it’s been sparking a lot of creativity in me, especially when it comes to original characters. And this one is a great example. He’s not the first, I have plenty of ideas in mind, but he’s the most recent and the first I’ve had the courage to fully develop.
Lately, I’ve been drawing a lot of humans, and that’s related to what I’ve been studying recently. I always avoided anatomy fundamentals, but I’ve been trying to bring more of that into my art. Of course, I don’t plan on abandoning my style, it’s already pretty solid and I’m proud of that, but adding a touch of realism to my pieces has made me more satisfied.
