Just catching up on this... Dialogue is so good!!! (But kinda suffers from the anime trope of repeating the last word the other person just said haha - bit it's still so good). And this could have ended up so campy but you guys really sold it!!

The plan worked perfectly 👌 give credit to Lucinda, she's got Dr. Collins under her control, now let's see how long she can keep Dr. Collins under her control 😉, Part 8 will most likely be Lucinda completely brainwashing/hypnotising/controlling Dr. Collins, just like she did with Clarence. And let's be honest, about time Dr. Collins met her match... Bring on part 8. Really enjoying this arc/story.

I would enjoy the obedient servant Professor to rescue her mistress, though I wonder a bit if in the process Professor Williams reclaims some of her power and winds up being the one in charge at the end. Also looking forward to more of Sheila and Quinn.

Dr. Collins lost her grasp on her trusty pocketwatch and, symbolically, realized she'd lost her grasp on Clarice—and was losing her grip on resisting Lucinda. The same pocketwatch that had lulled so many to sleep now lay strewn on the floor at the feet of a soon-to-be-sleeping Dr. Collins. Lucinda showed confidence by moving so quickly to a countdown. Like a plucky underdog in a boxing match, Lucinda’s ten-count came before the knockout instead of after. Her hand rose metaphorically over a defeated Dr. Collins slumped in her chair. So deep was Collins’s sleep that Lucinda didn’t even bother waking her and putting her back under to deepen the trance. A power move—but perhaps a tactical error. Professor Williams proved that even a sleeping Dr. Collins could be dangerous. The adorkable professor went from smiling at the slumbering doctor to out cold and smiling in her sleep in mere moments. The professor is still afoot. And Petra still pulls the strings. Sleep well, Dr. Collins. The path ahead is winding and murky indeed.
