Hard to tell if she's trying to build up her own cult of followers like Dr. Collins or if they're merely a means to an end to bring her down and then set them free. I expect Detective Daniels, back under Collins' control thanks to also being under our Adorkable Professor's spell, is next. Then Professor Williams herself... Of course, we remember what happened last time someone tried to topple Doctor Collins. So unless Lucinda manages to hypnotize someone with magic to get a leg-up, she'll fall to her knees in worship of Collins just the same as Professor Williams did.
