Automatic Reconnection
The server now automatically reconnects if the audio connection is lost.
Quicker Voice Recognition (speech recognition)
This makes the overall AI response speed faster when you are talking to the AI (using your voice).
Added new Improved Quick Voices
To use these you need to switch to them in the voice drop down. These have better voice quality than the Quick Voices but are much faster than the Improved voices. These voices work in English only, but when used can speed things up dramatically (compared with using Improved Voices, or other non-quick voices).
Added X 3 personality (from the video demo) to the main personalities list.
Added the new Many Slow Unreliable Models item when choosing a NSFW model. This is a library of over 100 language models, most of them 70B (large). These models generally have a 10-15 second delay before each response starts, and if the wait is > 15 seconds vamX switches to responding with Lunaris. These models will not always work, but it can be fun or interesting to play with this huge variety of possible responses. There are also some models that should work well specifically in Japanese (although we haven't tested this) including EZO, Swallow, Himeyuri and Karakuri.
GENERAL VAMX (NON-AI CHAT) FIXES
Fixed issue where vamX VaMSync didn't work for non-vamX scenes where the people weren't named Person (female) and Person#2 (male).

AI Chat works in Spanish or Portuguese EXCEPT NOT ACTIONS / VOICE COMMANDS. For her to actually do something in response to the conversation the conversation must be in English.

2025-03-05 15:37:00 +0000 UTCYou can pay for elevenlabs voices, you can do voice cloning but it is expensive. There are many many voices included for free but if you want higher quality voices or voice clone voices you can pay for them and Link elevenlabs with vamx ai chat. You can't yet save a specific personality to a scene but that is coming. Right now what you can do is if you use the standalone deepgram app you can create your own set of personalities to choose from and then just click a button when you open the scene to choose the one you want. You can also host your personalities online if you check the main docs at sxvr.com/ai

The only reason you would need earlier versions of vamX is if you opened vamX, then saved a scene (after doing some stuff in vamX) and then wanted to open that scene later. That scene, due to the way Virt-a-Mate saves things, would be dependent on a specific vamX var package. Other than that, I think mostly just delete the previous vamX when you download the new one.

Each animation has to be made or recorded by someone actually moving so you can describe 100,000 different animations we don't have, for every one that we do, even though we have hundreds. We will work to perhaps limit things more so there aren't strange animations playing at the wrong time, but, for now, you still can't just have her do anything. There are personalities which are called action aware, which should mostly only describe things that can happen in vam.

Optimally use NSFW model Lunaris, and set voices to a Quick Voice or Improved Quick Voice. If it's taking too long for your voice to turn into text use the separate Deepgram app offered in the AI Chat collection at this patreon. Also see https://sxvr.com/ai for more tips on getting quick responses, or ask more more questions here or anywhere. If there is a delay, which stage does the delay happen at (generating audio after text appears, writing text after you speak, writing her response after the text you speak appears?)

2025-02-05 22:57:27 +0000 UTCIt seems that the AI voice is broken. It was working fine yesterday on v. 1.44, but this morning and just now, there is no voice audio from the AI at all, only text. This is regardless of which voice you choose. UPDATE: Just so you know, this issue involves just the USA server. Speech works fine with the Europe server.
