Download vamX for AI Chat 1.37.1

IF YOU ALREADY HAVE VAMX:

1) Download the new vamX.1.37.1 (or Mega). This is vamX 1.37.1.
Overwrite vamX.1.37.var in your AddonPackages folder with this new file.

2) Get your updated password at www.patreon.com/vamx/membership

3) Open the vamX Chat AI scene.

4) To have the Male or Threesome person speak as the Chat AI, change "Speak As: Female" to "Speak As: Male" (or 3rd Person) in the new Chat Web UI.  

5) You can choose which types of vamX Actions may be triggered by the Chat AI. In the vamX Scene -> AI Chat section, check Lock Anims, Lock Look, or Lock Pose. For no Seamless Anims, check Lock Anims (while in a regular pose). For only Seamless Anims, check Lock Pose (and perhaps Lock Scene and Look too).

5) For short, fast chat responses change Quick Speech to Very Quick Speech in the Web UI.

6) Some personalities describe what happens. For example: "That sounds great Jack (Jenny looks over at Jack and smiles)". There is now a new Narrator voice option. This drop down is to the right of the Chat AI voice selection in the Web UI.  You would then hear the Female say "That sounds great Jack" and then the narrator would read in a different voice "Jenny looks over at Jack and smiles".

7) For a much faster and more accurate chat, use the updated Deepgram App for speech recognition. This recognizes speech without holding down any buttons. There are timing options to help her respond at the right time, when you finish speaking. Download the vamX Deepgram App from https://www.patreon.com/posts/97100910

8) You can use the improved gpt-4o model (SFW only). This has replaced the older gpt-4.

KEY NEW FEATURES

Improved Deepgram by allowing for short one word responses, as well as longer multi-sentence responses (without breaking your sentence into multiple parts, causing her to interrupt). In Deepgram you can now set the "Send Delay" to allow you to fine tune how long the pause should be before text is detected and sent to the Chat AI for a response. This isn't perfect, as it's not always clear when you've paused speaking, and the delays are also based on Internet connection speed to deepgram. That said, this is a much improved way of speaking, and doesn't require you to hold down any keys when talking in Virt-A-Mate.

Disable / enable certain types of AI Actions, using the new Lock Anims and Lock Look checkboxes. To have only animation / facial expression responses (and a few other misc commands), check Lock Look, Lock Scene and Lock Pose. Locking the Pose locks pose changes except for animations, so she would only change pose to other animations. If you want to not load the Seamless Animation Library, check Lock Anims. If you don't want to have her change Clothes, Hair, or anything else about her (or his) look, check Lock Look.

The Seamless Animation Library now loads much quicker and is half the size. The quality of the animations is the same.

Added Very Quick Speech option (to the Quick Speech drop down in the Web UI). When set to Very Quick speech she will respond in short sentences that appear rapidly, even when using improved voices. THIS ISN'T ON BY DEFAULT, IF YOU WANT VERY QUICK SPEECH, TURN IT ON IN THE WEB UI.

You can now specify which vamX person is the AI. Change the Speak As: drop down (in the Web UI) to Speak As: Male or Speak As: 3rd Person if you want the Chat AI to talk as one of the other people in the scene. If you change to have the Chat AI speak as the male, THIS DOESN'T CHANGE ACTIONS, so if clothes changes were triggered, it would still be the female that changes. Changing the Speak As drop down will probably work best if you set actions (in the Web UI) to No Actions, otherwise some actions may not make sense (although some, like scene changes, and some pose changes will make sense, for example Missionary Position, Let's go to the Movies, etc.).

Improved AI Chat responses to detected in-game actions (if you touch her, press a vamX button to remove clothes, etc.). Before if she did an action (Emily puts on her shirt) sometimes the AI responded as if Jack told her to put on her shirt, etc. Overall, the AI Chat responses will now be more accurate / make more sense in response to in-game actions.

There is now a separate Narrator voice which can be set to read the description (non-dialog) parts of chat. For example the Chat AI sometimes generates dialog, but then also adds a description in parenthesis or asterisks. For example you might see "That's a great idea Jack! (Jenny smiles happily)". Now, if you have a Narrator voice set, then the Female would say "That's a great idea Jack", but then a separate voice, that isn't spoken by the female in game, would say "Jenny smiles happily".

Switched GPT-4 to GPT-4o. This improves the text responses when using SFW GPT-4o.

Fixed an issue where audio files were sometimes spoken out of order. To speed up speech, her response is sent in multiple parts (e.g. if Quick Speech is set, and she will say a couple of sentences). Sometimes audio from a shorter, later sentence, finished generating first and arrived and played first. Audio is now played in order.

Fixed an issue where pressing Retry Last or generally receiving responses with many audio files could cause disappearing text an errors with future responses. Hopefully this is fully fixed but it may need additional work in the future.

ADDITIONAL NEW FEATURES AND FIXES

Fixed issue where an error message was sometimes shown when first loading the Chat AI in the main vamX scene (if it took more than 2 seconds to connect).

Improved AI Chat action accuracy by removing actions that don't make sense as part of a conversation (changing breast size, having a bat shaped face, changing skin color, etc.). For example, if you said "wow, you have large breasts" the Chat AI used to match the "large breasts" command and increase her breast size. This no longer happens and you can compliment her breasts, or talk about skin color, etc. without her changing her appearance. This should prevent some unreasonable and unintended actions from happening. Talking about clothes will still cause her to change clothes. Improved AI Chat action accuracy by fixing some long-standing spelling errors in some voice commands.

Improved toggling non-AI vamX Voice Commands while using the Chat AI. To use regular vamX voice commands (which can activate many more actions, like embody, changing skin color, etc.) first start the Chat AI, then go to Sound -> and check the Speech Recognition checkbox (it will always start unchecked when starting the Chat AI). You may then wish to set Actions in the Chat Web UI to No Actions to avoid double actions (although this will disable actions she would trigger with her dialog, so you may want to leave double actions).

Improved pose detection when loading non-vamX scenes (any scene you add vamX to). This should prevent the male's penis from being pulled towards to the female when the scene starts in a non-sex pose (where his penis doesn't already start very close to her pussy).

Fixed issue where regular vamX voice recognition stays disabled after using AI Chat.

CURRENT ISSUES / COMING SOON

In later releases the Female and Male will be able to speak to each other using Chat AI responses (in a conversation). Currently you must choose a single person to speak as the Chat AI.
