Abandoned Mine [20x50]

I miss her. I really do. It wasn't a romance or something great. It was a simple friendship, yet highly unlikely and deeper than a first glance could tell.

My dear Lam, the only dark-skinned elf I have ever met, and I am pretty sure the only one, due to their innate hatred toward everything on the surface and tales weaved around them. They were considered sickly, those dark elves, and in their sickness humans sought immortality, draining them and horribly experimenting on them.

Lam traveled with me for almost a year. I showed her Myriad, where she saw the gentle side of elves' ego; I showed her borders of savage Green Sea, where she gazed upon the freedom of the green races, peacefully cloaked with the impression of violence; I took her to Torncastle, where they worshipped her as the dark goddess they awaited.

She liked traveling with me, my company and we were good to each other. Some might say that I have a need for a companion, and a troubled one. They might be right. I am traveling with Grizkh, and we are passing near that damned mine.

She heard the call of her cruel god there, and the darkness swallowed her. Some say the horrible drider dwells there. Deep inside, I know that is her. And I might have a clue how to save her.

Hello everyone!

Last day & last map of the month. There is always that one big abandoned mine just outside the town that may and may not be interesting. The party can investigate and return with some rusty sword, few copper coins and sand in their pockets or they can fight something buried deep that started all the legends shrouding that mine.
