Twink update #3

Pink Fernando continues to struggle and flail against impressive suction. You might think it's not so bad if someone steals your musk but in Fernando's case it would render him a lifeless husk.

The musk is represented by little pink particles. Don't ask about the scientific logic behind musk particles.

I would like to polish this shot some more but it's good enough to show. I'm a big fan of forgetting about representing 3D spaces and having a big old streamy stream in the background. I looked at some pictures of baseball pitchers for references on how to throw. Fernando is not left handed but it was more convenient to have him throw with his left.

On that topic I wish I had put Treshtog's axe over his right shoulder in the first Meth Orcs. Not doing so forced me to make him a leftie in subsequent episodes or break continuity.

I ended up using this extreme close up for the Spectral Seed thumbnail. It's a nice thumbnail but it doesn't seem to have done the cartoon much good. Maybe youtube's algo detected that there was too much dang jizz in the cartoon.

In recent weeks I've been thinking a lot more about animating Pleasure Island Tournament Arc, which if you didn't see the video where I mentioned it, it's a large series about a martial arts tournament set on Pleasure Island. The main and possibly only con is that it would take a couple of years to animate. At the moment it's 11 episodes, and the total run time would be something like 40 minutes. It feels like a really foolhardy thing to start because of it's size. Ever since I made the most recent Pleasure Island episode in 2020 I've avoided starting anything that requires more than one episode. But recently it feels like a 2-5 minute cartoon just doesn't cut through or matter much anymore. I don't think I have it in me to go in the other direction: make sloppy shorts for vertical feeds. In any case my current plan is to make Meth Orcs: Butt Wizard after I finish HTDAT. As the title suggests it has butts in it, but so few people have viewed my last couple of cartoons that it doesn't make much sense to not do something because I'm worried about it getting censored.
