RANDY update

The above video is a track called Dad Store. I intended to do a string of new song collabs near the end of last year but I didn't have enough time, now I don't feel the musical spark, I just want to finish this dang cartoon. If making this cartoon was a hero's journey then I am at the dark before the dawn, the ordeal, stepping up to the challenge. Hopefully the next phase is SUCCESS. I say that mostly because it's so long, and I am increasingly aware how long I've spent on it.

I was going to call it Crab Tab or Pleasure Island: Crab Tab. But now I think I will just call it RANDY. Make it all about Randy. RANDY. Like Akira, or Blade, or uh Titanic. But RANDY. They say good title form is to include keywords but theres something a little bit bland about Pleasure Island: Crab Tab. People just aren't excited enough about crabs. But what about a big booba thumbnail and RANDY leering at you? Just try not to click on that.

This is the woodiest background I've ever painted. This shot could still use some nautical items to make it feel like a crab shack.

Gooseman is sporting a blue shirt in this one. It started as his usual pink but seeing him next to Randy made me feel like he needed something different. I would have gone with classic green but I wanted the chair to be green and it looked too samey.

I tried a bunch of different combos. I like the red in this shot but in a later scene it was way too loud.

I like him in blue. Generally I want to shake up their colours, I've been too lazy with Fernandos white/black combo and Gooseman always wearing the same clothes. I think Fernando looked good with his dark singlet in Manwhore vs Femboy.

Also, after a period of uncertainty, Randy toy is still happening. I'm planning to make a quick hype video about this cartoon and also the toy when both are ready or almost ready.

Thank you for sticking with me during this long process, probably no one remembers much about this cartoon because I took six months off it and patreon to work, and also a month before that to make the Ragemelon cartoon, and also a month before that for family reasons. It will burst on to the scene like a ripe cumquat before too long.
