Jay-Z - The Blueprint | CLASSIC AOTM REACTION

Comments

In regards to looking back now at who won the beef you have to consider how it all went down at the time. Theres more to who wins or loses than the songs. Theres like strategy and timing etc. Which is why looking back it seems it should be closer than it was seen at the time. This is fun btw. Haven't listened to this album in agesssss.

Appreciate yall for this one🤝 and all the others Bro I'm in the middle of moving to a new place and caught up in several days of cleaning up🤣 These reactions really is good company while doing all the mundane tasks. Much love for that🫡

Keshard Asbury

Full agree with the Renegade review...tie.

Ryan Higgins

Liquid Swords wouldve been such a much better choice since ya’ll definitely havent listened to it like you have with Blueprint, and the songs are actually sonically good. Hope ya’ll just decide to react to it since itll take minute for everyone to vote for it, and It washes anything else on the list lol

Hyperaware

Bros yall gotta do Life After Death 😤😤

Solomon Yeboah

Never listened to this album..only heard of renegade wich is a classic and oh boy it did not fit this album at all... honestly I did not liked anything of what I heard from this album at the level that I may come back to it...maybe because I never was a big Jay z fan...for me in present day this album did liver to the status that it has...I voted for the game documentary when the poll was up and now I'm more convinced that this is over appreciated compared to that..

jay DEFINITELY got him on the second verse technically aswell lowe me

babo

jay verse hits different tho like if we going of technical skill em went crazy but i dont FEEL that verse how i FEEL what jay is saying its just different to me

babo

Sorry em washed Jay

Timothy Payton

No one ever talks about Jay Z’s diss song Super Ugly, that he made about Nas it was very disrespectful! I think Jay Z mom made him apologize after releasing it

On the intro ya'll caught the references to Memphis Bleek, Beanie Sigel, and Pharrel, but the "gotta drop a mill" - is a reference to a Roc-A-Fella artist named "Amil" who they dropped from the label. My Hov album rankings: 1. Reasonable Doubt 2. American Gangster 3. Blueprint 4. Vol 2 5. Black Album he has more classics beyond that but that's the top 5 for me.

Yaolvin Cambridge

Jay def got Em on that second verse his shit was TOO REAL, anyone who’s had to step up for their siblings/family and had to mature quick felt that in their soul

Jean-Marc

I’m looking forward to listening to this album again with the guys, but I’m with you liquid swords, my favorite album probably ever.

Zyshawn Moore

I like this album, but I want smoke from the villagers who didn’t vote liquid swords
