What really is important to understand is that the US should not have the same goals as Canada, they’re on completely different levels. The US gdp is 10x that of Canada. Trudeau placing tariffs on 30b worth of US goods will not matter one bit!

You don't need to believe him but take it seriously as if you do. As far as who this benefits, it benefits Elon Musk, Trump, and the billionaire class who want to buy the economy for pennies on the dollar after it tanks. The most important thing to understand heading into this is that Trump and Canada do not have the same goals globally any more. Trump is more aligned with Russia and their goals.
