Please do the whole album! It is crazy interesting and so diverse, a couple great bangers with Jelly Roll, Sting, super unexpected features and samples. I think you will really enjoy and appreciate it. Need your input

2024-12-20 16:53:45 +0000 UTCThere was a thing about how Aunt Jemima was just a racist caricature of a black woman used to sell pancakes and syrup for Pearl Milling company. Around the hayday of BLM I think the conversation got brought up and they rebranded. I also think there was an black woman that played OG Aunt Jemima who acted as a traveling sales person for the company but she had to put up a "Good Ol' Mami" act to be successful. I don't think she and her family were enriched very much considering how successful Pearl Milling company is today.
