Appreciate yall for being one of the only channels out there that actually understand what they are hearing, and can correctly (and in the moment) put all this into a proper context. Meet the Grahams was exactly as insane as the 1st time you heard it. Although I do feel like if you grew up out here, then hearing "Mustard on the beat ho..." can have a funny way of making you kind of leave your own body for a second, and then come back to yourself ready to boogie.

At least 4/5 situations I can recall & it’s all documented online. Drake had a S/A settlement case in London against him. Not to mention Baka & his S/A charges. Kendrick spoke on woman beater allegations back 2014(breakfast club interview)which didn’t involve his lady & he was found not involved so Drake lied. All these can be easily researched.

Start with Like That. I heard alarm bells from the first second of Kendrick’s verse. And you said it “this is a declaration of war” I knew it was a set up. Drake claims to be a student of the game, then why did he not see it? Think of the other big rappers with diss tracks from Compton. They are built differently there. This was always gonna be ruthless. I also look at this and see how Dot studied Em and his diss tracks, the way he addressed every single claim and dissected them. Em was the first one I ever heard do that. Also the VERY structured dismantling of Drake’s brand. Also an Em thing, in my mind anyway. We know how much they respect each other and how often Dot credits him for his influence. Would love to hear your expert views on it. And would love an overview in your eyes, to summarize and leave it with a better note. Kendrick really planned this, he did not want any survivors. And I hope you both have found peace with it, I know how much you love hip hop, this really isn’t out of character for battles involving Compton rappers. How awful was Drake’s team that he made sooo many mistakes. Walked right into that trap every time.

But with the Drake release, it's really down to receipts on both parties at this point. It feels like there's subterfuge in both camps. If Kendrick continues on but with proof, he can potentially 'Ja Rule' Drake, however, if Drake's UNO reverse card claim could be proven, he could walk out of this beef only suffering a TKO.

Not Like Us Kendrick knew about Family Matters and the music video before he wrote anything. meet the grahams was to let out the anger. euphoria was a warning and some of that residual anger left over (how would he know to reference Drake's beef with Pharrell if he didn't already know he planned on showing his chain? Also the reference to the restaurant). 6:16 was the final warning, that he was being fed all the info, don't do it. Not Like Us was double down and draw a line in the sand with other artists.
