If you read the manga, everything covered in OVA 2 happens in the manga before the what happens in the movie. However, the way they wote the espoide does seem to assume you already watched the movie. But the OVA does not spoil who is best girl in the end. If anything watching the OVA solidifies the fact that Futuaro really could pick any of the 5 sisters before the movie and prevents a few things that happen in the movie from seeming out of character.

2025-12-24 17:24:42 +0000 UTCDO NOT WATCH OVA 2 BEFORE THE MOVIE. I had some spare time and went and rewatched them, to avoid spoilers for the movie, watch OVA 2 AFTER the movie. Though OVA 2 technically takes place before the events in the movie, watching it will spoil a part of the movie. So, if you do plan to watch the OVA's, only watch OVA 2 after you've watched the movie. Decided to make this a new comment instead of a reply to my other one just in case you guys get notifications for the comments. Hopefully you havent binged the whole thing already.

2025-12-20 09:20:18 +0000 UTCMonths? It was more like weeks at most. It was the start of December when this arc kicked off and this episode ended on Christmas eve. Depending on where you live, snowfall doesnt usually arrive until the latter half of December. Specifically, where I live in Japan, we dont see any snowfall until at least January (usually Feb). It basically stays fall until around new years for my area. I only bring this up because you both seemed a little concerned at the end of this episode but as a PSA the whole Rena thing is def, 100% explained. If memory serves, its explained in one of the OVA's. I think someone in season 1 commented in what order you should watch them in. I honestly cant remember but Im pretty sure they are both post season 2 but before the movie. Then there is one post movie OVA that never had a western release. I do have it though. Anyone that likes Nino is attracted to toxic women and Ill die on that hill lol

2025-12-19 19:53:50 +0000 UTCI do think this episode kind of moves a little fast (the manga isn’t any better on that front for this part of the story), but I think it’s closer to around 3 weeks that he’s not teaching them. The finals and the race happen in early December, then everything in the arc is resolved around Christmas, as you saw.

If he thinks hes not only not done a good job as a tutor but also brought some discord between them, that seems like a logical solution. I also think they just wanted to wait to talk untill they had a solution to papa problems
