To be fair the LN's for Konosuba have been done for a long time, so its really just on the studio to adapt it. Its not like they have to wait on the creator to finish his story lol

2025-12-16 02:59:42 +0000 UTCI believe Iris said it was her brother's necklace but that she was keeping it for a bit since he was at the frontlines. I think Aldarp's plan was to swap bodies with the prince, not Iris. There was also the bit during Kazuma's farewell party at the castle, where Alderp said the prince would be the best choice for Darkness' husband, and we know how obsessed Alderp is with Darkness. Although I think the prince wasn't his original target. Remember in season 2 where after Kazumas' trial Alderp asked of Darkness to marry his adopted son in exchange for dropping charges against Kazuma. I believe his original plan was to swap with his son. I think one of the reasons it didn't work out is because Aqua was there during the meeting between Darkness and Alderp's son. We know her mere presence interferes with the demons' abilities, and Aldarp would have probably used the demon he had a contract with to "warp" the story such, that Darkness would have accepted the marriage proposal. But because Aqua was there, the demon couldn't do anything.

2025-12-15 23:27:00 +0000 UTCNot entirely sure you caught the full ramifications of Aldarp sending the treasure to Iris but the common theory is that he was trying to swap with her then would kill his original body with her in it, making the change permanent and leaving him as ruler of the entire country. A REALLY dark alternate future!
