This is one of those series that the entire reaction can fall flat if they get spoiled. If someone has a comment and they're wrong, let them be wrong ezpz. Wanna make a comment but you arent sure if it crosses spoil territory? Either dont post it or run it through ChatGPT or something to double check. I remember when S2 came out a lot of people cried about "The Quints getting nerfed"(because their boobs got shrunk down a bit) and personally, I like the art for S2 sooooooo much better. Body proportions are more realistic, the colors pop more, the lineart is crisper, everything is an upgrade in my book. Futaro has his yellow/amber eyes going forward. If I remember right, he had blue in S1 because when they were making S1, there hadnt been any color shots of Futaro yet. So the studio didnt know what color eyes he was supposed to have and just went with blue.

2025-12-14 07:42:21 +0000 UTCI think its very interesting that futaro's confidence was so quickly shot down as a kid and how that evolved into extreme ego after becoming a lot more like that person he felt inferior to. Nobody even called him out for throwing the kids papers, it was just a quiet shame because he made the girl he likes pick up the papers. Very realistic for a kid to just avoid the interaction after that.

It's a pun with her name and you can see her wearing clothes with those numbers all the time since season 1. 4: Reads as "Yon" in japanese, and the "Yo" in her name comes from that; 2: Two in english and refers to the "tsu" in her name; 8: Ba is a way of reading the number 8 in japanese or chinese, I don't remember exactly. So it's basically a pun with YonTwoBa to Yotsuba.
