2025-12-09 13:01:36 +0000 UTCI do think that as recap episodes go this one is not so bad, even if it’s a completely anime only thing, but if there’s something that I don’t like is that they put you in Hohenheim’s head one episode before the reveal that he is not the father, like one episode! And in the recap episode they even show the father as a separate being from him! Like he literally dreams about the father speaking to him, so that either you figure out that they are two different people, or you think that he has a split personality or something… honestly from a narrative point of view, it’s kind of counterintuitive… like what’s the point of making you doubt or figure out the plot point that you are going to reveal the next episode?😅 especially considering that it’s essentially a filler that was created as a fancy recap… well anyhow, great reaction as always! Hope you keep enjoying it, really one of the best works out there

Also, I love watching people get so confused during these episodes and then finally realizing that Hoenheim is NOT Father Scar: "Your face S'plode!" Ed: "No, Greed, I will not kiss you!" (But I will) (You won't get these references, but other people in the comments will)
