I need tech support

Ok. are any of my lovely followers confident enough to help Metrinome with some computer problems? 

I have had a BITCH of a time getting my new workstation up and running and really need someone with some knowledge to help. 

Got a new Huion Kamvas tablet for drawing tits and vaginas for you guys. Better resolution and detail than my iPad. All problems that have come up, in order:

1) bought a refurbished Mac Mini from 2012, which was supposed to work with the tablet, according to the apple geniuses. The tablet hooked up just fine and functions perfectly as a monitor, BUT the pen didn’t work. it was working in the beginning, but once I set up the Mac, it just stopped working. It’s been weeks and dozens of phone calls with apple support, plus YouTube tutorials, reddit forums- nothing. I tried uninstalling and re-installing the driver dozens of times. I tried multiple drivers. All of their advice involved going into the driver, which doesn’t open- ”device not connected.” I gave up. 

2) I bought a new PC, a Lenovo Legion gaming PC. It was recommended by the people at Best Buy. I unpacked It, excited… it didn’t work. Wouldn’t turn on. The monitor kept saying no signal, so I thought it might be the tablet, but the light on the PC won’t turn on, only the fan. Best Buy said it must be defective and are offering a refund OR a replacement. 

But I want to know from you guys, should I get another Lenovo PC? Should I get something else? Is there a way to make the tablet work with the Mac Mini? is there a particular computer that works really well with drawing tablets? I ask because my end goal was to stream art live from the tablet, but now I’d settle for one that turned on and successfully worked with the tablet. 

I’m kinda desperate cause i sunk money into this and it keeps getting worse lol 

what were the odds, two bad purchases.
