Tomo Chan Episode 9

Carol was wrong for this😭

Comments

It's been standard everywhere in the world, including the animal kingdom outside of humans, forever. It's only recently that people have started to look askance at the practice. And it's only when done consistently for many generations that there are any health concerns, as the degree of relatedness exceeds first cousins. Once you get past first cousins, it's not worth even talking about. All humans are cousins after all.

This may be the 10th time I made a post like this in an anime reaction. Dating and marrying a cousin is ok in Japan.....and in the south in America apparently

JAMES D'ALESSANDRO

Cutest "RAWR!" ever recorded...

Ron Farmer

The fact that “On that note” is too accurate is so funny

Like others said, they are distant cousins. Although it's technically legal in Japan (UK as well BTW) and we know how lax Manga authors use that fact 😅 (and contrary to UK in Japan this actually happens, although very seldom, to this day) On that note: 100gfs season 3 was announced and will air in 2026

Drakojin

just added!

Are episodes 7 and 8 in the playlist?

She's from what is basically an "auxiliary family", which has been providing support to his family for generations, with minimal but occasional intermarriage between them. We don't have anything like that in the West, so "cousin" is the closest we could come to their relationship.

I love that every time someone tries to act all cool and aloof, Tomo cuts right through the BS. She has no time for it, and her friends are better for it.

- Sensei = respected expert or teacher (coach, doctor, master artist). - Senpai = someone more senior within the same group (upperclass students, longer‑standing coworkers). - Kohai = someone junior or new; the people senpai look after. - You can say "the club's senpais" to mean the senior members. - Patients call doctors sensei, but among staff they might call a more experienced colleague senpai and a less experienced one kohai. - Its usage is most of the time relative to the context: when talking to patients, staff still use sensei rather than senpai.

I could see Carol rationalizing her messing with Jun by thinking "doing this i make misaki jealous and maybe make him act, plus I push Jun into Tomo's arms" its Hella manipulative but from a purely logical standpoint its a win win scenario that advances both of their relationships.

Misaki and Carol are very distant cousins. It’s like that in “royal” families.
